(CS 7500, CS 5500 and CS 3500)
| The Animation below demonstrates how
ComSwitch handles calls. It may take a moment to load the animation. |
| 1. | ComSwitch waits for you or your answering machine to answer the call. |
| 2. | When a call comes in, all phones begin to ring (including extension phones and phones connected to the TAD and PHONE ports). |
| 3. | If you or your answering machine answer the call, ComSwitch will listen for tones to transfer the call to the FAX or MODEM port (FAX/MODEM port on the CS5500 and CS3500). |
| 4. | If ComSwitch detects a fax calling (CNG) tone after answering a call, it transfers the call to the FAX port (FAX/MODEM port of the CS5500 and CS3500). |
| 5. | If ComSwitch detects an access code for the computer modem after answering a call, it transfers the call to the MODEM port (FAX/MODEM port of the CS5500 and CS3500). |
