The ComSwitch 8500-t adds a new level of convenience for any home or business that uses TTY/TDD terminals along with other telephonic devices. When any type of call comes in, it is greeted by a voice announce-ment that asks voice callers to hold while they are automatically transferred to a standard phone.
At the same time, TTY/TDD callers are instructed to press their space bar to route the call to the receiving TTY/TDD. Faxes are automatically detected and routed.
